Burndy Y750BHXT HYPRESS remotely operated 10,000psi hydraulic crimp head provides 12 tons of crimp force with a “C” shaped head to allow easy placement and removal from continuous connectors.
Dies and adapters lock into place via push-button die locks in this forged steel and precision-machined head.
A male coupler is provided for easy disassembly. Model Y750CBHXT with rubber-covered head, body, and coupling available (email for price and lead time).
For use on tension sleeves Cu 8-500 kcmil, Al 6-556.5 kcmil, and ACSR 4-556.5, taps Cu 14-500 kcmil, Al 6-500 kcmil, Cu aerial cable 6-500 kcmil, HYGROUND Cu 6-500 kcmil, ground rods 1/2-1″, terminals, and splices Cu 8-750 kcmil, Al 8-750 kcmil, ACSR 4-556 kcmil. Accepts all “U” dies.
