Burndy Y45 HYPRESS remotely operated 10,000psi hydraulic crimp head provides 15 tons of crimp force with a “C” shaped head to allow easy placement and removal from continuous connectors.
Dies and adapters lock into place via push-button die locks in this forged steel and precision-machined head.
A male coupler is provided for easy disassembly. For use on tension sleeves Cu 8-500 kcmil Al 6-954 kcmil, and ACSR 4-795, taps Al 14-954 kcmil, ACSR 6-795, HYGROUND Cu compression 6-500 kcmil, grounding 1/2-1″ rods, Code Cable terminals and splices Cu 8-1500 kcmi, Al 8-1000 kcmil, Code Cable taps Cu 14-1000 kcmil, Al 14-900 kcmil.
Accepts “S” and “P” series dies, “u” dies with PT6515 adapter. 5-year limited warranty.
